Arika Okoze (虎魚 有梨華 Okoze Arika?) is a supporting character of the Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm series. She is an first-year student at Shitou Suisan who admires Mayu Ganeko greatly.

Appearance

Arika takes the form of a young teenage girl with short, gray twintails and purple big eyes.

She wears her required school uniform.

In her Flying Suit, Arika wears a suit that covers her entire body expect her shoulders. The suite is green but it is light green at various areas; on the collar, on her chest, stomach and legs. She also wears green gloves and green/white competitive grav-shoes.

Personality

Arika always seems to be overexcited, but when she is with Mayu Ganeko she always try to be nice because she don't want her senpai to be mad at her.

Background

Mashiro Arisaka and Arika know each other since they where little kids.

Plot

Arika was at the Summer tournament, she was looking at her match opponent but then she saw Mashiro Arisaka FC team and walked towards them and greeted Mashiro. Misaki Tobisawa is greeting her with "Maguro-chan" which made Arika angry and was yelling at Misaki at that moment Mayu Ganeko heard that and she wanted to punish Arika, Arika begged forgiveness.

Later that day Arika was up against Asuka Kurashina she started of great but Asuka stepped up her game and won. The day after Arika was sad that Mayu lost against Saki Inui and cried, later that day Arika watched the finals Kazunari Shindo against Saki.

At the fall-tournament Arika was watching the match Rika Ichinose vs Mashiro and was frustrated that she couldn't battle against Mashiro. When Mashiro match has ended they went to udon, Arika wanted to eat udon too, and got one too from Botan Arisaka. Later that day, Arika and Mayu where watching the finals. Arika was shocked when she saw Asuka doing a triple sonic-boost. In the extra time Arika was surprised when she saw the light ball in the air. When the match ended, she and a lot of other people where clapping for the great match.

Relations

Mayu Ganeko

Arika greatly admired Mayu, who calls her also "milady". Mayu also get mad at Arika when she is bad-mouthing to other players, she always said to watch out what she says.

Mashiro Arisaka

Mashiro and Arika have known each other since they are little kids. Arika started FC when she heard that Mashiro started FC. She hoped that she and Mashiro make it to the finals and compete to each other.

Misaki Tobisawa

For an unknown reason, Misaki knows Arika and Misaki always call her "Maguro-chan".

Etymology

  • The name Arika means "exist" (有) (a), "pear" (梨) (ri) and "flower" (華) (ka).
  • Arika's surname Okoze means "stone fish" (虎魚).

Trivia

  • Arika really likes tuna and the reason why she is sometimes called 'Maguro-chan'.
